Betty Ward

Betty Jane Ward, age 95, passed away on Monday, April 20, 2026 at Cardinal Place Assisted Living in Cambridge. She was born on August 10, 1930 in Harriman, Tennessee, a daughter of the late William Fred Webb and Laura M. (Smith) Webb.
Mrs. Ward was a homemaker and enjoyed church activities and teaching Sunday School. Betty is preceded in death by: her parents; her husband of 65 years, Richard E. “Dick” Ward, he died on August 23, 2016; her son Steven Patrick Ward, he died on July 16, 2024; and her siblings, Mildred Powers, Thelma Galyon, Mary Boles, Helen Kimes, Cecil Webb, James Webb and Robert Webb.
She leaves a son Michael Elliott Ward of New Concord and many nieces and nephews.
Friends may pay their respects on Thursday, April 23, 2026 anytime between 10 am and 5 pm at Bundy-Law Funeral Home. Her funeral service will be held on Friday, April 24, 2026 at 11 am also at Bundy-Law, officiated by Pastor Tara Mitchell.
