On June 4, 2016 at 1:12 pm Billie Lee (Kaiser) Riggs left to set up housing at her husband of 52 years, Senior Master Sergeant, Robert Lee Riggs’ final deployment. She was always a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.
Billie was born Jan. 3, 1943 in Zanesville the daughter of William D. and Betty L. (Steen) Kaiser and a graduate of Zanesville High School. She raised her daughters in Crooksville, East Fultonham and later lived in Avondale and Dade City, Florida until returning to live with her daughter Betty and Son-in-law Bob until her final days.
She left behind daughters; Betty (Bob) Carpenter and Virginia (Jeff) James; extended brother, son, caretaker & friend, Mike (Annie) Altman; grandsons, Chase (Alisha) Law, and Brett “B.J.” Law of Wyoming and granddaughter, Shannon Wolfe (Stephen May) of Florida; step-grandchildren, Lacey (Chris) Tumblin, Logan (Jessica) Carpenter, Dustin (Nicole) Gregg and step-great-grandchildren; Jacob, Lily and Lucas Tumblin, Dawson and Madelyn Gregg, and Cayden Wolfe and Kaitlyn Brink.
She was preceded in death in addition to her parents by her husband of 52 years Robert L. Riggs, and a brother David Kaiser.
There will be no public visitation or funeral services observed at this time and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
