Bishops Rout Irish in Season opener

ZANESVILLE – The Rosecrans Bishops raced out to a 27-0 lead to blow out Fisher Catholic in the season opener, 40-13. Running back Travis Johnston scored four touchdowns and rushed for 235 yards on 26 carries. Quarterback Jack Nash connected with receiver Aaron Gehlken for a pair of touchdowns. Rosecrans accumulated 412 yards of total offense while allowing just 138 yards from the Irish.
The Bishops are back at home next Friday versus Malvern.
