Body Found In New Straitsville Fire Scene

One person is dead after a house fire in Perry County. It happened in New Straitsville late this morning. State Fire Marshall’s Office Public Information Officer Shane Cartmill confirmed the fatality. Investigators are looking into the cause of the blaze at 104 East Ewing Street. The name of the victim has not been released.
