Bonnie Smith

Bonnie Marie (Sharkey) Smith 11/28/1935 to 12/31/2024, passed away at her home at the age of 89.  She was born in Crooksville, Ohio on November 28,1935 to Ellis and Bonnie (Wilson) Sharkey.

She graduated from Roseville H.S., class of 1954.

She worked at Ohio Bell of Zanesville and retired later from White Cottage Post Office.

She was a member of the White Cottage Methodist Church.

Survived by: One sister – Winnie (Sharkey) Stalter, 7 children: Calvin Smith, Doug (Diane) Smith, Susan (Doug) Ray, Gary (Roxy) Smith, Lisa Smith, Lori (Rick) Cozart and Craig (Chasity) Smith. Grandchildren: Ashley, Dakota, Carlee, Mylee, Bryan, Hilary, Chancie, Chase, Emily, Channel, Jazzlynn, Samatha, Jessica, Chad, Ty, Teha, Scot Jr., Gary, Beau, Brook, Jocey, Jessie & Blaine. And 38 Greatgrandchildren.

Proceeded in death by her parents, husband Jesse Clifford Smith, Sisters: Shirley Snider, Patricia Gibson, Barbara Malitor, Sandra Beaty, granddaughter – Trinity Smith and grandson – Quade Ray.

Special part of the family for many years and caregiver Norma Jean Crock.

Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Friday January 3, 2025 at William Thompson & Son Funeral Home 5765 Gladstone Drive White Cottage where funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m.  with Pastor Jamie Harrop officiating. Burial will be in Mount Horeb Cemetery.
