Boot Barn is set to open next month at Northpointe Center
ZANESVILLE, OH- A national western wear retailer is set to join Northpointe Center next month, bringing cowboy boots, workwear, apparel, and new jobs to the Gorsky Drive shopping strip.
Boot Barn is scheduled to open in mid-January of 2026 in the space immediately to the right of Ulta Beauty, filling the former MC Sports location that was split for the two tenants. Highland Capital, the property owner and developer for the center, says construction and tenant build out are nearing completion with roughly a month left in the process.
“The boot barn is a fairly large chain, they have around 350 locations across the country currently, they specialize in western wear, apparel, boots, very very good brand, it’s actually where I buy my boots from as well, a great company, usually very affordable, they also offer a lot of different stuff, so if you want snake skin or diamond back, whatever you want, any kind of specialty boots you can find them there and they have a ton of good western wear and apparel,” said Principal with Highland Capital, Wyatt Woeltje.
Woeltje added that Boot Barn’s national presence and credit profile were important factors in the decision to move forward with the lease.
“We knew that…Boot Barn was interested in the market, they’ve been wanting to get into town and they hadn’t been able to find a home just yet, and so we’ve known their brand pretty well, we’ve done some other locations with them, and with that being said knowing that they’re going be a tenant that will be here for the next 20 years gave us the assurance to say, okay this is a worthwhile tenant because the last thing we want to do is bring a tenant to town that doesn’t last, we want to keep this space leased, so their name, their credit worthiness, and them being heavily interested and devoted to the Zanesville market made us want to pursue them,” said Woeltje.
The store will bring its full lineup of boots and western apparel to Northpointe. Shoppers can follow Boot Barn’s website and social media, including an upcoming Facebook page for the Zanesville location for opening details, promotions, and possible giveaways.
