Boxley Pleads Guilty to Fatal Shooting Last July
A Zanesville man charged in connection to a fatal shooting last summer outside the Dairy Mart has pleaded guilty to the crime.
Court records show that 24-year-old Tequane Boxley entered a guilty plea Friday to one count of aggravated murder in the killing of 30- year-old William Young.
Zanesville Police say Young was shot in the neck last July while sitting in a car parked at the Dairy Mart on the corner of Pine and Baker Streets.
Boxley was scheduled to go to trial on Monday in Muskingum County Common Pleas Court.
Boxley will be sentenced at a later date.
