Boxley Sentenced To Life In Prison

A Zanesville man who pled guilty in connection to a fatal shooting last summer at the Dairy Mart in Zanesville learned his fate in court this week. The Muskingum County Prosecutor’s Office says that 24-year-old Tequane Boxley was sentenced by Common Pleas Judge Kelly Cottrill to life in prison on one count of aggravated murder with a gun specification in the shooting death of William Young. Boxley is eligible for parole after 28 years. Zanesville Police say 30-year-old Young was shot in the neck last July while sitting in a car park at the convenience store at the corner of Pine and Baker Streets.
