Brandon Elijah Scott Named Artist of the Month at the ZAAP Gallery

ZANESVILLE, OH – Brandon Elijah Scott has been named the Artist of the Month at the ZAAP Gallery.

Scott is a photographer and will have pictures on display from some of his worldwide adventures.

He says he uses high dynamic range, which brings forth the shadows and highlights that aren’t typically captured on a phone camera.

“This way you don’t lose any of the details.” Scott said. “So I can bring out a lot of the really interesting details, you lose no pixels in this kind of photography and so it really brings it alive, I find.”

Scott says in the last year he’s traveled New Zealand, the Maldives, Canada, as well as around Ohio, just capturing the beauty within nature.

He hopes that those who come to see his work during the First Friday Artwalk leave with more appreciation for nature and what it does for us.

“This is just a showcase of all the different places that I’ve been and some of the amazing wildlife and landscapes I’ve been able to photograph, it’s been such a blessing.” Scott said. “My main goal is just that folks who don’t get to travel or don’t get to see nature, will get to understand why it’s so beautiful and why we should conserve it and just inspire that love.”

Scott’s works will be on display from 5 to 8PM at the ZAAP Gallery, located at 625 Main St. in Zanesville.
