Brave Beginnings Car Show Fundraiser

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – Brave Beginnings is a local child advocacy group that assists area children in overcoming the challenges they face in the wake of abuse.
Pine Creek Valley Farm has partnered with Brave Beginnings to hold a car-show fundraiser, which benefits Brave Beginnings and the youth they support.
“So we’re going to have, obviously, a bunch of cars, jeeps, there’s two separate divisions. If you want to vote on your favorite car or your jeep it’s a dollar per vote, which all that money is going back to Brave Beginnings. We’re going to have, like I said, coffee, breakfast food, breakfast burritos, and pretty much just come out and hang out and support a good cause,” Pine Creek Valley Farm Co-Owner and Event Organizer Storm Clark said.
Participants are asked to bring donation items such as soft toys, blankets for kids, and any snack item that kids enjoy, to be accepted in place of an entry fee.
“Having a local child advocacy center is very important for our community. Before Brave Beginnings was here, families would have to travel out of county to receive the type of services that they receive on site at Brave Beginnings. So having that type of facility and providing those services here within our community it’s beneficial for the families here and for the children also,” Brave Beginnings Executive Director Roni Kuhn said.
The Brave Beginnings car show will take place from 9-to-noon, Saturday, July 27th, at Weatherington Woods, 3625 Olde Falls Road in Zanesville. You can find more information online.
