Break-in Under Investigation in Newark

The Licking County Sheriff’s Office is seeking information into a break-in at a business in Newark.

The office reports that on January 17, a suspect or suspects broke into Decorative Curb and Concrete on Mount Vernon Road and stole a leaf blower.

Detectives believe those involved may have been driving an early 2000 Ford Explorer or similar style SUV.

Anyone with information is urged to call the Licking County Crime Stoppers at (740) 349-6888. An up to $1,000 reward is being offered to anyone with information that leads to an arrest.
