Brian Shane Stonerook (March 11, 1970 – May 19, 2012)

Brian Shane Stonerook, age 42, of Roseville, Ohio, passed away Saturday, May 19, 2012. Brian’s children, Raven and Colt, were the love of his life. He was an avid hunter and spent many days hunting with his son, father and brothers. Brian accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior and had no reservations about sharing that love with others. Brian attended Oakfield Wesleyan Church and Pastor Dan Hinkle served as Brian’s friend and mentor. Brian graduated from Watkins Memorial High School in 1988 and Hocking College in Nelsonville, with a dual degree in Law Enforcement and Wild Life Management.
He is survived by his wife, Angel (Parker) Stonerook and children, Raven and Colt Stonerook. Brian is also survived by his parents, Bob and Mona Stonerook of Hopewell, Ohio; brothers, Scott Stonerook and Kyle (Cassie) Stonerook and their children, Park, Seth and Taylor; Brian’s in-laws, Kathy Truman and Glen Parker of KY; as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He is predeceased by a granddaughter, Adalyn Bell Patterson; maternal grandparents, Monie and Ken Hunt; maternal grandmother, Bonita Mauger; and an uncle, Leo Stonerook.
Friends and family may call from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at THE SNOUFFER HOME, 207 BURLEY ST., CROOKSVILLE with Pastor Dan Hinkle officiating. Brian will be laid to rest at Crooksville Cemetery.
