Brock Bolden Resigns as Coshocton Football Head Coach

COSHOCTON, OH – Some five months after Coshocton High School confirmed Brock Bolden as its new football head coach and assistant principal, Bolden has resigned from both positions.
A 2013 Coshocton graduate, Bolden returned to lead his alma mater on the football field, replacing Steve Smith, whose six-year tenured finished after the 2025 season. He is returning to Olentangy Orange Middle School, and will serve as the school’s assistant principal in a role which he held before committing to Coshocton at the beginning of the calendar year.
In a statement to football parents, superintendent Matt Nicholas confirmed the resignation, as the program resumes its search for a new head coach. “Our district is moving forward with plans to fill these important roles, and we will share additional information regarding the assistant principal and football coach positions as it becomes available.”
With the 2026 season kicking off on August 17th, the Coshocton athletic department will look to bring in a coaching staff, looking to lead the program to a winning season for the first time since 2020.
