Brothers Arrested In Attempted Robbery

The Zanesville Police Department says it has arrested the two men suspected of attempted robbery of a Speedway Gas Station on Friday.

Captain Doug Merry said his officers have charged two brothers in the incident. They are Jeremy Moody who faces one count of attempted robbery and Courtney Moody who is charged with one count of complicity to aggravated robbery.

Merry said they two men entered the Blue Avenue store pulled a knife on a cashier. Merry said they demanded the clerk open the register but were refused. The men then fled the store.
