Bryan Scores Winning Run in U.S.S.S.A. Championship

Tri-Valley 7th grader Skye Bryan accomplished much more than just making the Great Lakes U-12 All American team; Bryan trotted home for the game-winning run that capped off an undefeated tournament for his squad.

The Great Lakes Region defeated the Midwest Region, 9-8, in 8 innings. With the bases loaded and Bryan on third, Brandon Banker was hit by a pitch, ending the game in walk-off fashion.

Bryan went 1-for-3 with two runs scored. Granville’s Grant Van Winkle also contributed, knocking home an RBI in the 1st inning.
