Burdeen Higginbotham

Burdeen Elizabeth Higginbotham, 99, went home to be with the Lord on January 14, 2026 at Danbury Senior Living with her beloved Pam at her side. She was born June 9, 1926 in White Cottage.
Burdeen graduated from Lash High School in 1944 and Meredith Business College. She was a branch manager for Mutual Federal Savings and Loan where she spent her entire career. Burdeen was a member of the First Christian Church, member of Soroptimist of Zanesville where she met many friends.
Burdeen spent the majority of her life living in her beautiful childhood home in White Cottage before moving to Columbus for the last 8 years to be closer to Pam.
She is survived by her bonus daughter Pam Moore, Columbus. Three close special friends. Sara (Chris) Pfaff, Mark (Nancy) Ullman and Anita Ullman.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Higginbotham, her parents Myrtle Fincel and William Fincel. Her two sisters, Juanita Pierce, Dorothy Hibbs, one brother Father William Fincel.
There will be no calling hours, but a short service will be held Monday January 19, 2026 at 11:00 am at William Thompson & Son Funeral Home 5765 Gladstone Dr. White Cottage. Burial will be at Memorial Park on Military Road in Zanesville.
