California Man Arrested for Stealing Gift Cards

The Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office said they’ve made an arrest in regards to a man stealing gift cards.

Authorities said Xue Ming, of California was charged Monday with one count of counterfeiting. They said the investigation is ongoing and more charges are expected.

On December 5, the sheriff’s office was called to the Coshocton Walmart in regards to a man stealing gift cards. They spoke to lost prevention and to Ming who produced several gift cards from his pockets. A short time later his vehicle was located in the Walmart parking lot.

Authorities said they they noticed open boxes full of gift cards. The vehicle was placed into evidence and searched. Deputies said a large amount of various gift cards were located inside the vehicle.
