Candice Tackett

Candice L. Tackett, 47, of Zanesville, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on March 4, 2026, at Genesis Hospital in Zanesville.
She was born on August 10, 1978, in Columbus, Ohio. Candice worked for Door Dash over the last couple years. She enjoyed coloring, cooking, and baking. She loved the colors black and purple, watching True Crime Podcast, and ANYTHING ‘Nightmare Before Christmas’ related. Above all, she loved having her girl dates with her friends and spending time with her loved ones.
Candice is survived by her loving husband, Kenneth Tackett; son, Douglas MacNealy; granddaughter, Sophia Grace MacNealy; mother-in-law, Kim Tackett-Renard; best friends and sisters: Taryn Williams, April McGillis, and Dana Moffrett; good friends, Robert Peck and Derek Kline; special dogs/kids, Kai and Bella; special grand puppy, Dobby; many other friends and family members.
A dignified cremation has been entrusted to DeLong-Baker & Lanning following services.
