Cannizzaro Inducted Into OHSBCA Hall of Fame

Newark Catholic head baseball coach John Cannizzaro has been inducted ino the Ohio High School Baseball Coaches Association Hall of Fame. In two stints as the Green Wave’s manager, Cannizzaro won six state championship and picked up 16 state victories. Newark Catholic most recently knocked off Tinora, 6-0, to win the 2015 state title. Cannizzaro’s crew has made it to the Division IV championship each of the past three seasons, also winning in 2013.
