Carl Edward Lanning (May 7, 1931 – June 15, 2016)

ZANESVILLE
Carl Edward Lanning, 85 of Zanesville, passed away peacefully on June 15, 2016. He was born May 7, 1931 in Zanesville, OH a son of the late Joseph and Daisy (White) Lanning. He retired from Edmont Wilson Glove Manufacturing in Coshocton and after retirement worked for many years at the Zanesville Country Club in the groundskeeping department.

He is survived by a son Jeff (Tina) Lanning; two daughters Vicki (Mike) Slaughter and Sandra (Kirk) McCloud; seven grandchildren Stacey Seward, Josh Seward, Zakary McCloud, Kelcey McCloud, Lucas Slate, Katie Battig and Brandon Lanning; and a sister Vondalyn Taylor.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Marjorie E. (Reed) Lanning and a brother Lloyd Lanning.

Calling hours will be held 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Saturday, June 18, 2016 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD, ZANESVILLE. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, June 18, 2016 in the Snouffer Chapel with Pastor Donna Edsall officiating. Burial will follow in St. Paul Cemetery in Sonora, Ohio.
