Carl Vernon Weaver (June 11, 1936 – February 7, 2016)

Carl Vernon Weaver 79 of Zanesville passed away on Sunday February 7, 2016 at Genesis House Morrison Hospice. Carl was born in Portersville, on June 11, 1936 to the late Earl J. and Rose Byers Weaver. He served our country and protected our freedom by serving in the United States Army; he retired from Cooper Industries with 28 years of service, and attended Adamsville United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his loving wife; Beverly Harper Weaver of the home, a daughter Lori (Troy) Vallee of South Zanesville, four step-children; Linda (Pat) Mathes of Zanesville, Kathy (David ) Phillips of Zanesville, Timothy (Margaret) Willey Sr., Steven Willey and four grandchildren, Matthew Vallee, Haley (Dakota) Pettet, Zach and Nathan Vallee, seven step-grandchildren, Stephan Willey, Katrina (Jordan) Homan, Timothy Willey, Ryan Willey, Zachary Phillips, Danny Willey, and Susan Teeters.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by; his first wife Mary Royston Weaver, a son Eric Weaver, brothers, Virgil, LeRoy, and Harold Weaver, and a sister, Beunice Richardson Lewis.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Adamsville United Methodist Church 8065 East St Adamsville, Ohio on Tuesday February 16, 2016 at 7:00 PM with Pastor Curtis Thomas officiating. A family graveside service will be held at the Zion Cemetery at 11:00 AM on Thursday February 11, 2016 in Portersville, Ohio.
