Carol Harris

Carol L. Harris, 63, of Zanesville, Ohio, passed away peacefully on August 2, 2026. She was born on June 28, 1963, to Ed Singer and Florence Davis.

Carol was preceded in death by her father; her grandparents, Harry and Eloise Johnson; her great-grandfather, John Holbert; her uncles, Harry Johnson Jr. and Duane Johnson; her aunt, Lilly Mae Johnson; and her cousin, Tony Johnson.

She is lovingly survived by her husband, John Harris; her children, Sheron (Ann Marie) Davis, Tiffany Harris, and Summer Harris; her sisters, Lisa Davis, Melinda Rush, Donna Felix, Nicole Singer, Chelsea Singer, Nadine Singer, and Brenda Curtis; her brothers, Paul Felix, Phillip Singer, Glenn Singer, and Charles Curtis; her extended brothers, Paul “Huey” Felix and Monty Felix; her cherished grandchildren, Ashawn Davis, Cameron Davis, Avante Davis, Sheron Davis Jr., Cody Starkey Jr., Bronson Deeds, Ca’Vani White, Ke’Mauri Curtis, and Rylo Starkley; as well as many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and friends.

Carol was the most loving and caring person, dedicating the majority of her life to her family and especially to her grandchildren. She treasured every moment spent with them, whether it was enjoying sleepovers, watching movies together, or simply making memories. She also loved spending time yard sale shopping and always found joy in life’s simple pleasures. Her kindness, generosity, and unwavering love for her family will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Family and friends may call on Monday, August 10, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Burrell Funeral Services in Zanesville. Funeral services will begin at 12:00 p.m., with burial to follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
