Carol Klink

Carol Jean (Bokelman) Klink, 85, of Byesville, passed away Sunday (July 21, 2024) at her home.
She was born January 14, 1939 in Cambridge, daughter of the late Everett Bokelman and Marian (Stage) Bokelman.
A 1956 graduate of Cambridge High School, Carol had worked for several lawyers in the Washington DC area while living there. Locally, she had worked for Thomas Evans for four years. Carol was a loving housewife and mother for sixty-two years.
She enjoyed ceramics and playing the piano. While she and her husband, Donald, were stationed in Guam during his military service, she loved to bowl.
Carol was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church since 1969.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Alice McCance.
Carol is survived by her husband, Donald E. Klink, whom she married March 17, 1961; four sons, Donald (& Theresa) Klink of Jacobsburg, Darrin (& Merita) Klink of Zanesville, Kevin (& Gabby) Klink of Byesville, and Kelly (& Becky) Klink of Quaker City; two daughters, Stacey (& Doug) Frencik of Byesville and Marianne (& Matt) Thomas of Byesville; eleven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren and one more great-grandchild on the way.
Visitation will be held Wednesday (July 24, 2024) from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Black-Epperson Funeral Home, Byesville. Funeral services will be held Thursday (July 25, 2024) at 11 a.m. at the Calvary Baptist Church, Byesville, with Pastor Dennis Rost officiating.
Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Byesville.
