Carol A. Wolfe, 1966 – 2019

Carol A. Wolfe, 52 of Zanesville, died 9:53 AM, Sunday, February 3, 2019, at The Ohio State University Medical Center Columbus, following a several month illness. She was born Saturday, November 12, 1966, in Zanesville, the daughter of Loren and Alice (McNerney) Dobbins.

Carol was a caregiver for many years with Adams Lane Care Center, Cedar Hill Nursing Home and Genesis Healthcare. She was a Christian by Faith and very loving, compassionate and caring wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Carol enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She never met a stranger and lit up a room every time she entered.

Carol is survived by four daughters: Niki (Brad) Lake of Newark, Tiffany (David Butler) Johnson, Tammie (Robert Moore) Thornhill all of Zanesville and Bobbie (Valiant) Woodward of Hebron; seventeen grandchildren; siblings: Tim (Donna) Dobbins, Alice Dobbins, Patty (Roy) Payne, and Suzanna Dobbins all of Zanesville, mother-in-law: Minnie Moore of Somerset and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her husband: Billie Moore; one brother: Michael Dobbins; one nephew: Toby Moore and her father-in-law: Jimmie Moore.

Friends may call from 2:00 to 4:00 & 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Thursday, February 7, 2019, at the Hillis, Combs & Nestor Funeral Home, 935 Forest Avenue, Zanesville, where Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM, Friday with Dr. Herbert Hicks officiating.
