Carolee J. Mills (January 9, 1934 – July 26, 2012)

Carolee J. Mills, 78, of Zanesville, died Thursday, July 26, 2012 at the Forest View Health Campus. She was born January 9, 1934, in Zanesville, a daughter of the late Charles and Eileen Roberts Merriam. She retired in 1980 from Bethesda Hospital, was a member of St. Luke’s Luthern Church, Zanes and Janes Square Dancing Club, Country Campers, Club Scout # 117 Den Mother and a member of the Airstream Club.

Surviving are her husband, James P. Mills, whom she married September 26, 1952 of the home; a son, Keith (Melissa) Mills of New Lexington; two grandchildren, Thomas Lynn and Michael Lynn; a sister, Sharon K. Thress of Newark; a brother, Gary (Jeannette) Merriam of Heath; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends and family may call from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Friday, July 27, 2012 and one hour prior to services on Saturday, July 28, 2012.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Avenue, Zanesville with Pastor Brian George officiating. Carolee will be laid to rest at Zanesville Memorial Park.
