CARR Center Cake Auction Wrapping Up Friday Evening

Scott Boyer, Cake Auction Chairman, said that the last day is always the busiest so they are really starting to get a lot of bidders coming in as the event wraps up this evening.

Boyer said that there have been some truly amazing cakes showcased throughout the whole event.

“It just amazes me what these bakers can do with cakes. People are buying them, we love selling them, and people get to enjoy the incentives that come with the cakes,” said Boyer.

He hopes that after tallying up all of the total sales from today that they will achieve the $4 million milestone of money raised over the past 30 years of running the cake auction.
