Cathlyn Godby Seeley

Cathlyn Sue Godby Seeley, age 88, of New Concord, Ohio, passed away peacefully on August 1, 2026, surrounded by her family after a short battle with cancer.
Born December 11, 1937, in Zanesville, Ohio, Cathlyn was the child of Earnest and Lula Richardson Godby. She spent her life as a devoted homemaker, wife, and mother.
Cathlyn is survived by her loving family, including her children, Mark (Cathy) Seeley, Brenda (Jeff) Koch, Heidi (Curtis) O’Brien, two brothers: Elmer Godby and Richard “Berg” Godby, and many grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years John Seeley, and their son Todd Seeley.
Calling hours will be held Saturday, August 8th, from 11-1pm at the SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD ZANESVILLE,OHIO, where funeral services will follow at 1pm with Pastor Jeff Belt officiating.
Burial will follow in the East Union Presbyterian Cemetery, 59535 Claysville Rd, Cambridge, OH 43725.
