ZANESVILLE, Ohio – You can get a cat-themed cat tattoo during this Sunday’s Cattoo fundraiser at the Colony Square Mall.

The Westwood Tattoo Collective in the mall is doing predesigned cat tattoos for $100 a piece, with proceeds going to the Chatty Cat Compassion Fund. Brandon Roberts owns the tattoo parlor and is Erica Roberts’ husband. Erica owns the Chatty Cat Cafe, Chatty Cat Closet, and the Chatty Cat Compassion Fund.

“All the proceeds go towards the cats and helping them get spayed, neutered, food, litter. And last year was a blast, so hopefully this year is bigger and better. //EDIT// Definitely get here early, cause the shirts are in limited supply and first come, first serve. So if you want a tattoo, you’re definitely going to want to get here as soon as possible.”

There will also be raffles for wood cat cut-outs made by Brandon, tattoo vouchers, and t-shirts will be sold. The first ten customers to come in on Sunday get additional raffle tickets. You can walk around the corner to the Chatty Cat Cafe, order a coffee, and see the animals the fundraiser will help care for.

“Last year was so much fun. Of course I got to be in like the front desk area and help with like some of the admin as part of the event as well. So I really got to have that hands-on experience and being part of that event too, which is really cool. And of course, having him in my corner as always, awesome. But we hope that it’s just as busy, if not busier than last year because last year was absolutely awesome. There was a line all the way to the cafe so we were able to just pass out coffees while people were waiting in line. It was a lot of fun.”

Last year’s Cattoo Fundraiser brought in around $2,000 that paid for the medical care of the foster cats in the Chatty Cat Cafe. You can learn more by following the Chatty Cat Cafe and the Westwood Tattoo Collective to learn more.
