Cecelia “Gayle” Carpenter

Cecelia “Gayle” Carpenter, 63, of Cambridge, passed away June 7, 2025, at her home, with her family at her side.
She was born on May 7, 1962, in Fultonham, OH, daughter of Edith Bowden. Gayle worked for Colgate Palmolive for several years. She was a Methodist by faith and loved to spend time with her grandchildren. Gayle loved anything adventurous, her hobbies included reading, gardening, planting flowers, listening to music, riding four wheelers, and she loved her time with John riding their motorcycle.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband of twenty-three years, John Carpenter; daughter Tessa (Jon) Chapman-Cohen; grandchildren, Nathaniel Cohen, Wyatt Cohen, Elise Cohen; sisters, Terri (Jo) Carver, and Cindy (Larry) Price.
Celebration of Life Services will be held on Saturday June 14, 2025, from 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM, at Bonnell Cremations Funeral & Receptions, 420 N. 8th St. Cambridge, OH 43725, where services will begin at 2:00 PM with visitations to end at 3:00 PM.
