Celebrate New Concord concert features Haley Bundy

NEW CONCORD, Ohio – The celebrate new concord summer concert series continues on Tuesday with locally raised singer/song writer, Haley Bundy.

The concert at new concord village park is the final stop on Bundy’s hometown tour with her Nashville band. The graduate of John Glenn High School made the move to Nashville to start her country music journey and in earnest back in 2024. David Turrill is on the Celebrate New Concord Committee and is excited for Bundy to come home for this concert.

“we live in a small, rural community and john glenn reminded us that you can be born here and go anywhere and do anything. And i think anytime we anytime we have a story of a local person out there making it big in the world, it is great to feature that.”

Bundy placed in the top 3 in the American Idol Ohio state fair vocal competition in 20-23. She has nearly 300 monthly listeners on Spotify and has been performing since she was 13. Turrill is excited to see what she will bring to this year’s concert line up.

“The Celebrate New Concord Series has a wide variety of music that we offer from bluegrass to pop to, we have an Irish group. So, she’s going to bring this pop-country kind of flavor to us and i think we’ll also probably bring in a different, some additional crowd because it’s Haley.”

Haley Bundy’s concert is Tuesday at 7 p.m. with free admission. Make sure to bring your own folding chair so you have somewhere to sit and you can see the other concerts in the series by following Celebrate New Concord on Facebook.
