ZANESVILLE, OH – Voters showed their support for The Center in Tuesday’s primary election, approving a renewal levy by about 62% that will help keep important community services running.

The renewal levy will help The Center continue programs and services many residents rely on every day. That includes Meals on Wheels, social activities, and educational programs designed to keep the community active and connected.

“We’re so excited that we can continue what we do at The Center, providing the meals for our homebound participants. We have people coming in and we have a lot of activities here.” Executive Director of The Center, Kate Paul said.

Center leaders say they’re grateful for the community’s continued support and say the levy’s passage ensures they can keep providing important resources

“It’s one of the things I truly appreciate that this community has pulled together and supported us. If you haven’t learned about The Center, please come in and just see what we do. Because you can’t describe the energy, you have to experience it.” Paul said.
