Century National Bank Family Center Opens

The Century National Bank Family Center at The Fieldhouse is up and running.

The 20,000 square foot Family Center is the result of a partnership that dates back 50 years between Century National Bank and the Amicone family. Mick Amicone said Century National Bank made The Fieldhouse a possibility years ago, and he is proud to have the bank’s name inside The Fieldhouse today.

"They put us in business," Amicone said. "They took a chance on us 30 years ago and that’s the reason why they’re apart of us, and that’s why we’re apart of them. Thirty years ago they made a commitment to make this fieldhouse happen for this community. It’s an honor to be apart of it with them."

Amicone said the new Family Center is very adaptive by providing many different sporting opportunities to both able-bodied and special needs participants. It is open to all who want to use it.

"The greatest thing about this for the eight counties that we serve, it’s going to provide organized events, and I keep going back to The United Way one last night, but it’s also going to be made available to general membership, folks that are members of The Fieldhouse family of companies, but also open to the entire community if they’re not a member," Amicone said. "They can come in and utilize this facility on a rental basis."

The Family Center will have its official grand opening on October 1.
