ZANESVILLE, Ohio- One local organization took advantage of the nice weather on Friday, May 26th.

The Muskingum County Chamber of Commerce hosted their annual spring golf outing at Vista Golf Course. President of the Chamber, Dana Matz, explains the event is a great opportunity for chamber members to network among local businesses.

“Each year we have a golf outing in the spring we rotate amongst our Chamber Member courses. Very happy to say we have 30 teams participating this year and its a great way for our Chamber Members to come out and network. Some of the members bring coworkers, some bring clients. I’ve had companies talking to each other. Hay let’s get together so its a real nice opportunity to spend a day on the golf course and  network with fellow business people.”

General Manager of the Vista Golf Course, Casey Lepi, says Vista is proud to host the event and honored to be a member of the Chamber of Commerce.

“It’s just a really great organization to be a part of they do so many things and we’re just very thankful to be a part of it and that they are here and all the things they do for Muskingum County. It’s just a very good organization and we love to be a part of it.”

The Chambers next outing will be this fall at Jaycees Golf Course.
