Chamber of Commerce has a new app

ZANESVILLE, Ohio- The Zanesville Muskingum Chamber of Commerce has unveiled an app to help connect people to events in the area.

The ‘Visit Zanesville Ohio’ app is a free app that tells people about many things including events, attractions, and dining options. Chamber Vice President Kelly Ashby said the app is a combination of the welcome centers’ guidebook and its website.

“What there is to see and do in Muskingum County is all right here on the mobile app. The reason that we did this is that the mobile app is definitely the fastest growing way of people getting information. They turn to their phones and folks just want to download an app and have all the information right there at their fingertips and that’s exactly what the ‘Visit Zanesville Ohio’ mobile app will do,” said Ashby.

Ashby said it’s taken a lot of work to get the app up and running but, it is such a great tool. The app will notify you of upcoming events that you will be interested in. She said the app is for both visitors and locals.

“We certainly do encourage everybody in the community to download this. It is a tool for guest to Muskingum County, but also we will use this for folks within the community that live here, work here, because again the events that will be listed and when you have guest that are coming to visit you, but when you’re looking for something to see or do or wanting to take the family somewhere this will be the perfect tool for you,” said Ashby.

The app can be found on the App Store or google play store under Visit Zanesville Ohio.
