Chamber of Commerce wage and benefit survey

ZANESVILLE, Ohio- The Zanesville-Muskingum County Chamber of Commerce is asking members to fill out a wage and benefit survey.

The wage and benefit survey is open to all businesses that participate in the chamber of commerce. The survey is helpful to local businesses because it helps them remain competitive and informed.

“The advantage of it is, as businesses are looking to promote within or hire somebody from the outside they have an opportunity to look at the wage and benefit survey,” said Chamber President Dana Matz.

Using the results of the survey, businesses are able to see what wages and benefits are offered for positions they are looking to fill. This in turn helps the businesses with recruiting and hiring.

“This is important to our area,” said Matz. “So we need to stay competitive and this is a way to do that. So competitive and profitable two major things for area businesses.”

Matz said an email was sent out to chamber member businesses with a link to the survey and the businesses will receive a newsletter this week with the link. The chamber would like the surveys to be submitted in the next couple of weeks. If you did not receive the email you can call the chamber at 740-455-8282 to request the information.
