Charges Filed In Burger King Fatal Shooting
Muskingum County Prosecutor Mike Haddox says he filed charges against an area man in connection with a fatal shooting at Burger King on the Maysville Pike. Haddox says 34-year-old Timothy Daniel of Jonathan Drive is facing multiple charges including aggravated murder with a firearm specification, having a weapon while under a disability, felonious assault, carrying a concealed weapon and improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle. Haddox says Daniel has a prior burglary conviction in Franklin County in 1998. Daniel is accused in the fatal shooting of 61-year-old Charles Hooper of Zanesville at the south end fast food restaurant. A second suspect arrested — 33-year-old Jamie Jarrett also of Jonathan Drive has been charged with 2 counts of obstructing justice. His bond is set at $100,000 and he is also being held in the Muskingum County Jail.
