Charges Filed in Coshocton Shooting

COSHOCTON COUNTY–Charges have been filed in connection to a shooting incident in Coshocton.

According to the Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office,  31-year-old Christopher M. Bowden of Cincinnati, was formally charged with Felonious Assault, a Felony of the 2nd degree.

More charges are anticipated after the review from the Coshocton County Prosecutor’s Office.

Authorities said on Sunday, June 22nd just before 3:00 a.m., deputies were dispatched to the 500 block of south 7th Street in reference to a shooting.

Following an investigation, Bowden was arrested at the scene.

The victim of this incident was treated and released with minor injuries.

The incident remains under investigation.
