Charlene K. Dailey

Charlene K. Dailey, 71 of Norwich, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, October 5, 2025.
Charlene was born on February 28, 1954, in Columbus. She is the daughter of the late Charles R. and Mary M. (Mahoney) Vencill. Charlene was employed with the State of Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles and proudly served on the OCSEA State Board of Directors. Following her career, she devoted her time to caring for her home and family, always keeping things spotless and making sure everyone was well taken care of. She took great pride in maintaining her lawn, found joy in shopping, and loved nurturing her flower gardens. Above all, Charlene had a deep and abiding love for animals, especially dogs, who held a special place in her heart.
Charlene is survived by her beloved husband of many years, Raymond E. Dailey, whom she married on April of 1991; her daughter, Rachael Dailey; her two cherished grandsons, Judge Raymond Morgan, and Legend Michael Dailey; her siblings, Doug (Theresa) Vencill, Linda Vencill, and Carol (Donnie) Deoring; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
In addition to her parents, Charlene is preceded in death by her brothers, Johnny Masterson and Joey Vencill.
Visitations will be held from 11 AM to 1 PM on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at the Farus Funeral Home of New Concord. A funeral service will take place at 1 PM at the funeral home. Pastor Keith Taylor will officiate the service. Charlene will be laid to rest at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
