Charlene Williams

Charlene Faye Williams, 87, passed away Sunday, August 16, 2026, at Willow Haven Care Center. She was born December 28, 1938, in Crooksville to the late Thomas and Edna McGee LeRoy. She was a 1957 graduate of McLuney High School and was employed at Akro. Charlene was a big fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes, Cincinnati Bengals, NASCAR, and enjoyed reading.

Surviving are her son Tim (Lisa) Williams; her daughter Kim Jones; sister Jean Harris; brother Gary (Marty) LeRoy; sister in law: Diane LeRoy four grandchildren: Alaina Wainwright, Erica Wainwright, Aaron Wainwright and Casey Jones; a great grandson Zachary (Olivia) Moore; two great great grandchildren: Isla Moore and Jonas Moore; a niece Mary Dyer; a great niece Aaliyah Dyer; and a great nephew Lennox Lewis.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Bill LeRoy and brother-in-law Bill Harris.

Cremation services have been entrusted to the Snouffer Crematory. The SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD, ZANESVILLE has the distinct honor of serving the Williams family.
