Charles A. McCauley (May 28, 1930 – March 30, 2015)

Charles A. “Mac†McCauley, 84, of Zanesville, died at 3:40 P.M. on Monday, March 30, 2015, at Genesis Hospice-Morrison House. He was born May 28, 1930, in Orlando, WV, a son of the late Wilford and Goldie Butcher McCauley. He was a United States Army Korean Conflict Veteran, retired from Ohio Power after 23 years and attended Otsego United Methodist Church as well as Finley United Methodist Church. Mac was a member of the Ohio Power Veterans Association, the Ohio Husky Musky Club, Irville Lodge 184 F&AM, Amrou Grotto #45, and Scottish Rite Valley of Cambridge.
Surviving are a son Rev. David (Amy) McCauley of Lebanon, IN; two granddaughters, Mercedes (Michael)Potter of Greenfield, IN. and Julia Kathleen (Daniel) McGill of Lebanon, IN.; a great grandson, Rory; two brothers Wesley (Jean) McCauley of Somerset and George (Clara) McCauley of New Lexington; and a sister Cree ( Dick) Bare of Mt. Perry.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife Patricia Ann Moore McCauley, who died in September 6,1996; his second wife Lillie Dent McCauley who died November 4, 2004; and a sister Mary Moyers.
Friends and family may call from 6-8 P.M. Thursday April 2, 2015 with Irville Lodge holding Masonic services at 5:45 P.M. at BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, April 3, 2015 at the funeral home with Mac’s son, Rev. David McCauley officiating. He will be laid to rest at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery, Zanesville.
