Charles Allen Paulley

Charles Allen Paulley, 81, of Caldwell, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, November 11, 2020. Charles was born March 28, 1939 to the late Hubert and Hallie (Hutchinson) Paulley. In addition to his parents, Charles is also preceded in death by a sister, Thelma Edwards; and two brothers, Raymond Paulley and Kenneth Paulley.
Charles leaves to cherish his memory, his children, Aaron C. Paulley, Melissa Flemister Welch and Vanessa Sommerfeld; six grandchildren, including Madeline, Makayla and Miranda Paulley; a sister, Francis (Hughlin) Foraker; and a host of other family members and friends.
Charles was a veteran of the United States Armed Forces, serving in both the Navy as well as the Marine Corps. During his 11 years of dedicated service, Charles served as a medical corpsman. Charles was a life-long entrepreneur, owning and operating two restaurants in his life. In his free time, he enjoyed activities such as fishing, painting and pyrography. Charles also enjoyed the hobbies of metal detecting as well as coin collecting, through which he found many treasures. Per the family’s wishes, cremation has been chosen.
