CHARLES B. McCONAHA, 67, of Old River Road, Philo, passed away peacefully at his residence March 24, 2012.

Charles was born March 18, 1945 in Zanesville the son of the late Roy and Mary (Winters) McConaha. He worked for Ohio Ferro Alloy in Philo and also for TC Builders. He served his country in the US Army.

Charles is survived by 3 step sons Larry (Tammy) Marshall of Zanesville, Damin Caminetti of Zanesville and Michael (Kimberly) Clark of Chandlersville; two brothers Robert McConaha of Chandlersville and Richard McConaha of Duncan Falls; his sisters Marsha Jean Joseph of Zanesville, Sharon (Bill) Blake of Duncan Falls, Margaret (Jim) Ruege of Duncan Falls, Joy (Fred) Slaybaugh of Columbus and Edith (Steve) Lucas of Reynoldsburg; six grandchildren and a sister in law Janice McConaha of Norwich.

In addition to his parents, Charles is preceded in death by his wife Shirley McConaha who passed away September 19, 1999; his brothers George and Donald McConaha and his sisters Bernice Loomis, Mary Husch and Rita Nicodemus.

Visitations will be 10 to 11 am Wednesday, March 28th 2012 at the Farus Funeral Home, Duncan Falls where funeral services will be 11 am with Pastor Tim Patton officiating. He will be laid to rest beside his wife in the Duncan Falls Cemetery.
