Charles E. “Chuck” Winsor

Charles E. “Chuck” Winsor, 87, of South Zanesville, passed away at 3:27 a.m. Sat. May 8, 2021 at Genesis Hospital. He was born on Nov. 28, 1933 in Zanesville, a son of the late Harold E. and Opal V. (Linscott) Winsor. He was also preceded in death by his grandparents William R. and Edna Linscott and Charles A. Winsor.

He was a member of the Zanesville Moose #867 and Zanesville Eagles #302, a former member of Springfield Lions Club. He was a member of St. James Episcopal Church. He was retired from General Electric where he worked for 36 years.

He is survived by his wife Mary Ann Goetz Winsor, whom he married Aug. 29, 1964. One son Harold Scott Winsor (Lisa Cooper) of Zanesville.  Two grandsons Charles A. Winsor of South Carolina and Brett A. Winsor of Zanesvile. One granddaughter Alyssa. One brother Richard (Virginia) Winsor of Zanesville. Brother-in-law Carl R. Nethers. Brother-in-law Richard L. (Judy) Goetz. Many nieces and nephews.

Private services will be held at William Thompson & Son Funeral Home in White Cottage with Father Rob Willmann officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. James Episcopal Church.
