Charles Hahn

Charles Robert “Bob” Hahn, 71, of Nashport, passed away Saturday afternoon, March 16, 2024, following a long courageous battle with cancer.
Born September 30, 1952, in Zanesville, he was the son of Mary Ellen (McGlade) Hahn and the late John Hahn. Bob grew up the ultimate farm boy in Dresden, Ohio and enjoyed playing football, baseball, and wrestling. He was also an avid fisherman and hunter. He graduated from Tri-Valley High School in 1970. After which he enlisted and was honorably discharged from the United States Army.
Bob’s first career was as an executive in the tech industry. He then retired in the early 2000’s and enjoyed a second career as a bridge salesman for U. S. Bridge. Bob retired again and enjoyed his favorite career of all, being BoBo to his grandson Arthur.
Surviving is his wife, of 45 years, Cathy (Lasure) Hahn, whom he married January 20, 1979; two daughters, Allison (Jeremy) Camp and Molly Hahn; his mother, Mary Ellen Hahn; a brother, David (Elaine) Hahn; a sister, Kathy (Charlie) Sidwell; honorary daughters, Kasey and Amy Horan; along with many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his father, Bob was preceded in death by a grandson, Henry Camp.

Funeral services will be held at 6:00pm, Thursday evening, March 21, 2024, at the funeral home.
