Charles Isaac Hamilton (May 2, 1927 – November 28, 2011)

Charles Isaac Hamilton, 84 of Crooksville , OH died 10:25 AM Monday, November 28, 2011 at his residence.

He was born May 02, 1927 in Monday Creek Township OH the son of Charles Herman and Monna F. (Williams) Hamilton.

Charles served in the United States Army during WWII. He was a great husband, father and grandfather. Family was very important to him and he instilled knowledge and taught common sense to his family.

Charles is survived by three sons; Paul Hamilton of the home, Jonathan Hamilton of Bristol and Charles Edward Hamilton of Zanesville; a daughter Donna Carnes of the home; several grandchildren; several cousins including Sarah Hoover and Mary Catherine both of New Straitsville.

In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by his wife: Dolores F. (Klinger) Hamilton who died October 4, 2009 and a grandson Zachary Hamilton.

Visitation will be held on Thursday Dec. 1st from 12 noon till 6:00pm at the family’s home located at 7378 Old State Rd. Crooksville OH with the funeral service being held that evening at 6pm with Chaplain Tim Patton officiating. Burial with Military Honors will take place 11:00am Friday Dec. 2nd at the Ebenezer Baptist Cemetery in Maxville Ohio.
