CHARLES J. BLAIR 80 of Crooksville passed away on Sunday March 14, 2010 in Zanesville.
Charles was born on April 25, 1929 in Roseville to the late Charles E. and Meriby Hanson Blair. He was a former truck driver for Cook Motor Lines. Charles loved to fish, camp, and tell stories. Charles served our country and protected our freedom by serving in the US Air Force.
He is survived by his wife Gloria Grannon Blair of the home, two daughters Barbara (Marty Dillon) Nader of Middletown and Christy (Tom) Landers of South Zanesville, four step daughters Carol (Gary) Skillman of New Lexington, Wanda (Michael) Schultz of Crooksville, Linda (Gary) Hashman of Rose Farm, and Penny Clifton of the home.
15 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his four brothers James, Robert, Kenneth, and Bruce Blair, a step son Timothy Trussell.
Calling hours will be Tuesday March 16 from 2-4 & 6-8 at THE CROOKSVILLE CHAPEL OF THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME 207 Burley Street Crooksville. A comforting funeral service will be held at 10:30am on Wednesday at the Funeral home with Pastor Larry Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery.
