Charles M. West (June 30, 1917 – December 1, 2011)

Charles M. West, 94, formerly of Chandlersville, passed away at on December 1, 2011 at Summit Acres Nursing Home, Caldwell.

Charles was born June 30, 1917 in Blue Rock the son of the late Charles and Irene Murphy West. He retired from the Noble County Highway Dept. and he served his country in the US Army Air Corps during WW II as a machinist.

Charles is survived by his nieces, nephews and his extended family.

In Addition to his parents, Charles is preceded in death by his wife Mary Belle West who passed away October 1, 2010, his brothers Dean West and Harry West and his sisters Hallie Baker, Gale Chemoneth, and Faye West.

Visitations will be 11 to 1 pm Sunday December 4th, 2011 at the Tom & Farus Funeral Home in Cumberland where funeral services will be at 1 pm. Burial will follow in Cumberland Cemetery with full military honors.
