Charles R. “Chuck” Steil (May 13, 1947 – March 15, 2015)

Charles R. “Chuck” Steil, 67, of Nashport, went to be with the Lord at 2:58 A.M. Sunday, March 15, 2015 at Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital. He was born May 13, 1947 in Zanesville, a son of the late Raymond and Laura Blanche Lucas Steil. He was a member of North Terrace Church of Christ and volunteered his time assisting with the landscaping. He graduated from Maysville High School Class of 1965 and retired from AEP as a lineman after 42 years of service. Chuck loved to work, he enjoyed building, fixing things, going to the Smokey Mountains but most of all spending time with his family.

Surviving are his loving wife of 38 years, Debra A. Tuttle Steil, whom he married August 20, 1977, of the home, children, Kevin (Cathy) Randolph of McConnelsville, Christy (Ryan) Van Hoozer of Nashville, TN., Andy (Angie) Steil of Nashport and Matt (Velvet) Steil of Frazeysburg; grandchildren, Sloane Van Hoozer, Anna Steil and Andyn Steil; a brother, John (Grace) Steil of Danville, Virginia; many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends and family may call from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at North Terrace Church of Christ Church, 1420 Brandywine Blvd, Zanesville, where funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, March 18, 2015 with Mr. William Meaige officiating. He will be laid to rest in Tabor Ridge Cemetery, Tabor Ridge Road, Stockport, Ohio.
