What’s a New Year’s celebration without champagne? Some would say it’s not much of a celebration at all.

The Winerak in Zanesville has everything you can dream of when it comes to adult beverages.
Owner, Mike Alfman said the secret to having a good New Year’s Eve party is having what you enjoy.

“The main rule of thumb when you come in to get some sparking wine for New Year’s Eve is ask us or let us know. Do you like something sweeter or drier?,” said Alfman. “And if you like the traditional champagne, that would be something that’s a lot drier. If you want something that’s sweeter then we highly recommend Asti Spumante. And then also there is Prosecco which is sort of in the middle. And it’s also a nice sparkling wine for the New Years celebration.”

The Winerak is a one stop shop. Not only can you purchase your drinks there. But you can also buy food to pair with your drinks.

“For your New Year’s Eve looking for something from the deli or meat department. We have both with prime rib and whole beef tenderloins. And then from the deli, we do a lot of meat and cheese trays and some mini bun sandwich trays with some of our home made salads on them. So if you have something that you would like from there I would recommend calling as soon as you can to get those orders in on time,” said Alfman.

And if you are more into homemade wines and beers, Winerak also sells brewery items so you can make wine or beer at your leisure.
