Cherokees dominate in state legion tournament

The Coshocton Cherokees made history on Wednesday by beating St. Clairsville, 10-2, in the state legion tournament. The win marked Coshocton’s first victory in the state tournament since 1976. The Cherokees will battle Circleville Thursday night at 7.

In GLSCL Â semifinal action, the Licking County Settlers fell to Lima, 4-3. The Settlers are in a must-win situation as the series shifts to Newark Thursday night. First pitch at 7:05.
